I'm mid way through my project ofcompleting my dream home with thebrilliant Deborah Garth!
It's an absolute pleasure to share my experience thus far...
I did not take appointing a Designer for granted, and I early understood that getting this opportunity is a privilege. So in asking for Deborah's help, I had already done my research. I looked for a designer that's work screamed out Timeless! Someone that appealed to not just my taste however what I aspired to be.
I wanted a home. Not a museum. I wanted my individuality to be felt and pleasantly noticed in my beautiful home that was warm and welcoming throughout the seasons to come.
Perhaps it's Deborah's years of experience that has gained her all this wisdom, however she manages to understand you completely. She understands that even though I don't have her expertise, I have my own vision and she respects that.
She listens attentively and will surprise you with her wonderful ideas. Deborah has taken my vision and somehow expanded on it and improved it 10 000 times.
I realise that just having a dream and the opportunity to make it come through is not enough.
People often say that a building project is as stressful as divorce however with Deborah managing the project a lot of stress is removed from my plate.
Deborah has taught me through this process. She has opened my eyes to new things and thought about details that even with all my research, I would not have imagined.
She is on call anytime and has that special touch oftreating you as an individual, not just her project. She takes the time to listen to my 4 very different children and they too look forward to sharing their ideas with her.
I look forward to our meetings because I know I am going to learn new things and spend timewith a wonderful person!

I have known Deborah Garth for a number of years and have been aware of the dynamic design work that she has been involved with over the years. So, when I wanted to redesign the Cornish cottage I had purchased, it was without hesitation that I invited Deborah to put forward her thoughts and ideas to transform a rather “tired” dwelling. I now have vibrant rooms with colour and texture, awash with light, simply furnished, yet extremely comfortable.
